Opening ceremony of 2019 Seminar on Financial and Economic Management for Developing Countries​

On the morning of September 23rd, the opening ceremony of "2019 Seminar on Financial and Economic Management for Developing Countries" was held in Nanchang, which is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and undertaken by Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics. Wang Xiaoping, vice president of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics; Wang Jian, director of the Division of Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation of Department of Commerce of Jiangxi Province; Wu Zhaoyang, dean of the school of International Trade and Economics; Hu Jianguo, secretary of the Party Committee of School of International Trade and Ecomonics; Zong Pinghua, director of the training center of Jiangxi College of Foreign Studies and Liang Hong, director of the foreign aid training program of the school of International Trade and Economics, were invited to attend the opening ceremony. Liang Hong was the host of the opening ceremony.

At the opening ceremony, Vice President Wang Xiaoping first delivered a speech and warmly welcomed all the participants of the seminar. He introduced the college distribution, subject education and academic background of JUFE, showed the excellent quality-oriented education and the function of serving the economic and social development of JUFE and also emphasized the rich experience accumulated by the university in the training of high-level and influential leaders. He believed that this seminar will promote bilateral trade exchanges and develop the economies of various countries in a the stable and healthy way, and also it would make the connection with different countries closer in financial and economic management. At the end of his speech, he wished this seminar a complete success.

Director Wang Jian said that the opening of the seminar is a specific embodiment  of China's government's commitment to foreign aid, which not only makes more outstanding contributions to the development of human resources and the improvement of independent development capacity for developing countries, but also builds a platform for promoting friendly relations between developing countries. He pointed out that China is still a developing country, the economy developing and livelihood improving are still serious tasks for China. It is hoped that China, together with other countries, will give full play to economic complementarity, promote trade cooperation, and expand the prospect for bilateral trade cooperation under the principle of "equality and mutual benefit, diversity of forms, effectiveness and common development".

Two representatives who were from Palestine and Laos came to the stage and gave their speeches. They briefly introduced the situation of their own country, expressed their happiness to come to China, and put forward the hope that they could have in-depth exchanges with all the participants from other countries on financial and economic management and other related knowledge during the seminar, and also experience the profound connotation of Chinese culture.

At the end of the opening ceremony, all the distinguished guests, professors and participants took a group photo together and all wished the 2019 Seminar on financial and economic management for developing countries a complete success.
