2018 Seminar on Fiscal and Economic Administration for Developing Countries was held in Jufe

      2018 Seminar on Fiscal and Economic Administration for Developing Countries sponsored by Ministry of Commerce of People’s Republic of China, organized by Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics was held in the School of International Economics and Trade, JUFE on May 9th. 34 students from 13 African and Asian countries participated in this seminar. The director of Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation Office of the Business Department of Jiangxi province Wang Jian, JUFE’s vice president Wang Xiaoping, the dean of the School of International Economics and Trade School Wu Zhaoyang, Secretary of the Party Committee Hu Jianguo and the vice dean Huang Xianming attended the opening ceremony, which was hosted by Professor Huang.
      At the beginning of the opening ceremony, professor Wang Xiaoping made a speech on behalf of the university. He indicated the completion of the seminar in our university reflects that the approval and trust given by the Ministry of Commerce and the Business Department of Jiangxi province to our university, which makes JUFE feel honored and even more responsible. This seminar is aimed at strengthening students’ systematic study of financial management knowledge and the communication, contact and cooperation between China and the other developing countries in the field of financial and economic management. What’s more is to jointly promote bilateral economic and trade exchanges and the smooth and steady development of the economy of all the countries. According to the requirements of the Ministry of Commerce, JUFE will take a high sense of responsibility and mission and will try its best to complete the training tasks assigned by the Ministry of Commerce with high-quality courses, excellent faculties and comfortable learning environment.
      Later, the director of Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation Office Wang Jian delivered his speech in which he indicated that the Chinese leaders attach great importance to build up cooperative and friendly relationship with the other developing countries. The seminar held by the Ministry of Commerce is actively sponsored by them. The completion of this seminar is also a reflection of the implementation of our government’s commitment to foreign aid.
      Mr. Wang stressed that China’s top leadership is vigorously promoting the “Belt and Road” initiative and actively constructing cooperative relations with the countries along the line. This seminar not only is the embodiment of strengthening personnel communication under “Belt and Road” initiative, but also focuses on deepening the other countries’ understanding of China’s development history and “Belt and Road” initiative. Through the 21-day study, we can promote the academic exchanges, discussions and cooperation of the business officials and the reform and development in the financial and economic fields. It is believed that this will make a more beneficial contribution to the development of human resources and the ability to develop autonomously, and at the same time, to build a new platform for promoting friendly relations among developing countries. In addition, he also conveyed a message in his speech that he hopes JUFE can organize carefully and serve the foreign friends friendly as always to make the students feel the vigorous development of China’s economy and the sincere feelings of Chinese people, and thus promote communication , deepen the understanding, expand common knowledge and enhance friendship with each other.
      Thereafter, it was the student representative Yasin’s turn to make his speech and he was from Palestine. At first, he thanked the organizer for his meticulous preparation and warm reception, and expressed his curiosity and love for the fast developing China. He said, the seminar is beneficial for students to increase their knowledge and operating skills and to serve their own countries better. Yasin also said he was looking forward to the next 21 days in China and wish China and Palestine can build up strong relationship and achieve reciprocity and mutual benefits. After that, he gave a detailed introduction to the Palestinian policy of investment for the participants, and expressed their readiness to welcome business activities from all over the world to Palestine.
      It is reported that this seminar will focus on the field of financial management, and carry out teaching, research and discussions in Jiangxi, Shanghai, Beijing for 21 days.
